Spaniards celebrate Three Kings Day on Jan. 6th. There are lots of parades and the tradition is that the three kings bring gifts to the children the next morning (you have to leave out your shoes!) The first picture is Baltazar, the black king (Here the kings have names, two of them are white, one is black. Who knew?). The second picture is all of the candy that was in the streets after the parade came through. I still have candy stuck on my shoes!!

Hey MAR,
Exact same tradition here. I thought the same thing when I saw all the nativity scenes set up downtown....who ever knew the kings' names? And did you know that Adam and Eve wore sombreros and Mexican attire? Yep..I laughed when I saw the display here.
